This section provides information about the health and social care professionals and services that support children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
Families Information Service provides information, advice and guidance for parents, carers, practitioners, children and young people on a wide range of services and activities/events available in Doncaster and beyond.
We Support Our Mums is a local scheme that supports mums to breastfeed out and about in Doncaster.
This is a universal entitlement for ALL 3 and 4 year olds. Children become eligible for their funded early education place the term after their 3rd birthday and this place is available until they reach compulsory school age (the term after their 5th birthday)
Funded entitlement to childcare is a government scheme, which allows some 2-year-olds to attend education or childcare settings in Doncaster. Children can attend a setting for a maximum of 15 hours over 38 weeks. That’s a total of 570 hours per year in which your child could be having fun, learning and making friends.
