School holidays and term dates

This page gives a brief overview of the terms dates within Doncaster. Individual dates may vary: For Academies and Church Schools - please check with the School. You will find information about the current and future school holiday dates, and there are also downloadable versions of the school holiday calendars available in the downloads section of this page.

The Council is responsible for determining school holiday patterns for its maintained schools.

Following consultation on previous school holiday patterns the Council agreed to set the late spring holiday, normally around Easter, to cover the majority of the first two weeks of April with the remainder following the traditional holiday pattern.
