Adult, Family and Community Learning

The Adult, Family and Community Learning Service (AFCL) provides local learning activities for adults and families in their community.

AFCL will be suspending classroom based delivery for all our learners from Monday 23rd March.

This means that all face to face delivery will be postponed. However we would still like your learning to continue. Your tutors will have been in touch with you to explain the plans and support they are putting in place for you during this time. If you have any questions or want to know more please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the AFCL team on 01302 862688.

We will be posting lots of ideas for activities you can do at home, and on our Facebook page

Thank you to our past and current learners - we will keep you all informed and look forward to seeing you back in class when we can

Funded by the Education, Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), the service operates across the borough encouraging all sectors of the community to participate in local learning activities of their choice. Follow the links below to see the courses on offer:

Whether you are looking to improve your skills, gain a qualification or just want to learn something new, we are sure you will find a course.

Local voluntary and community sector organisations can apply for funding  to deliver training. More information on:
