Lewis: "I encourage residents to access council services online"

As a busy Digital Friend in the Customer Services team in the One Stop Shop, Lewis supports customers who may not be confident using technology to access council services online.

“I get great job satisfaction from helping a customer get to grips with using computers. Some come into the Civic Office with no experience at all but thanks to our help, they leave with more confidence that they can do things online themselves in the future.

“That’s a great feeling and of course, we also like to encourage them to access more of our services online as it means they don’t have to go out of their way to travel to the Civic Office or wait in line on the phone.

“I’m thoroughly enjoying the role.”
