Highways programme of works

Doncaster Council deliver a wide range of work on the public highway, both planned scheme work and reactive maintenance work. Details of our planned maintenance programmes can be found here.

The following works programmes have been approved to be undertaken in 2023/24, start dates are to be determined during the year. Should any of the declared schemes not be undertaken in 2023/24 due to unforeseen issues such as site availability, adverse weather conditions, or operational constraints etc. then they will be carried forward to the next financial year for programming and implementation.

Flood Risk

Gullies on all adopted roads are inspected and cleaned on a 3 year cycle. For information when we will be planning to visit your ward/area please visit our gully cleansing page.
