Perinatal Mental Health Public Engagement Group - Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice sets out what you need to know about how City of Doncaster Council will use your information for participation in the perinatal mental health public engagement group. What information about you do we collect?
- Personal information – such as: your name and email address for the purpose of inviting you to participate in the perinatal mental health public engagement group activities
- Special Category information – such as ethnic origin, health details – such as: if participants have experienced mental health/perinatal mental health issues currently or in the past; have received support for perinatal mental health difficulties; and other consequences of struggles with perinatal mental health

Who will your information be shared with?
However, in certain circumstances, we may need to share your information within the Council or with other organisations. We will only share your information when necessary and when the law allows us to, and we will only share the minimum information we need to. For example, where you have contacted your Councillor in respect of a complaint, for safeguarding issues or through a criminal investigation.
The City of Doncaster Council will never sell your information to anyone else.
How long will we keep your information?
We only keep your information for as long as we need to, after which we will securely delete the information. We will keep your information for only so long as is necessary – the table below sets out typical timescales for each activity:

Changes to this privacy notice
Data Protection Officer (DPO)
- monitoring the City of Doncaster Council’s compliance with data protection law;

- co-operating and consulting with the Information Commissioner’s Office (see ‘Complaints’ below).
