What is a key decision?

An executive decision which is likely:

(a) to result in the local authority incurring expenditure which is, or the making of savings which are, significant having regard to the local authority's budget for the service or function to which the decision relates

(b) or to be significant in terms of its effects on communities living or working in an area comprising two or more wards or electoral divisions in the area of the local authority

(c) any decision related to the approval or variation of the Policy and budget Framework that is reserved to the Full Council

The level of expenditure/savings which this Authority has adopted as being financially significant are:

(a) in the case of the revenue budget, gross full year effect of £250,000 or more.

(b) in the case of the capital budget, £1,000,000 or more in respect of a single project or otherwise across one financial year.
