Bank holiday bin collections
Recycling and refuse collections are made Tuesday to Friday, including Good Friday as it is a normal working day for our collection contractor (SUEZ), this means that your bins and box will be collected on the same day all year round and with occasional exceptions will not be collected one day later accounting for Bank Holidays as in previous years.
The exception to this will be collections made around The Queen's Jubilee, Christmas & New Year. You should receive information about these changes on the collection calendar delivered and the online bin calendar.
Although we work to ensure collection times are regular, collection times may change during holiday periods due to a changes in the amount of waste and recycling presented for collection, so please ensure that your bins and box are put out for collection by 7am on the correct day.
Should your bin not be emptied by 7pm on the collection day, please report it to Customer Services within two working days by completing the following e-form.
