The Sensory Team provide services for adults with a hearing impairment.

- Social work support for individuals and families
Specialist needs assessment
The first stage will be an assessment of your needs. If you are eligible for services because of risks to your independence and safety, you will be offered support, advice or services to assist you.

Interpreting Service
An independent British Sign Language / Lip speaking, Deaf / Blind interpreting service is available, provided by Royal Association for Deaf people (RAD).
How to book:
BSL: Video message to 07974 325563 via message or WhatsApp.
SMS or WhatsApp: Send a text of WhatsApp message to 07974 325563.

RAD will require a booking form but understand that not everyone has access to email or website. They can support you to book via SMS if you require.

Hearing Aid Services
Hearing aids are provided by the National Health Service. Contact your doctor who may refer you to Hearing Rehabilitation Centre, Sandringham Surgery, Level 1, Sandringham Road, Intake, Doncaster DN2 5JH.
