What is this for?
All events should be organised with the safety of the participants, spectators and officials foremost in the planning process as well as the protection of the local community and the environment.
If you tell us about your proposed event and you can access support if the event is taking place within Doncaster.
What is it going to cost?
There is no upfront costs involved at this stage. Please be aware that your event may require payment for specific items at a later stage i.e. to close a road, licenses etc. but only if they are required.
What we need from you
Please, tell us about the event you are planning by completing the online form from the DO IT NOW button link below. At this stage we are looking to obtain contact information for the event organiser and an idea of the size and nature of your event. If you are looking to use a public space or Council site please also include this information.
What you should expect from us
Depending on the information you provide, this may include a telephone/email from a Council team that deals with a specific issue associated with the organising of your event. They may only require extra information or they may require you to initiate further action, some of which may include a charge.

It is likely that additional guidance will be required for specialist events and larger scale activities and there are many sources of information i.e. government and event industry guidance websites that may be able to offer advice on specific types of event.
