Youth Offending Service Mentoring Scheme

The Mentor’s core role is to support a young person who is on a Court Order. The mentor provides an advocacy/support role for the young person, which sits slightly outside the statutory elements. Their main role is to help the young person become self-sufficient in their local area – so helping them access leisure interests, develop hobbies, access support agencies etc

No previous experience is required for either role as full training is provided and will be ongoing. Anyone interested can contact the service switchboard on 01302 736100.
