Specialist activities within the Youth Hubs

Young people with disabilities are encouraged to access all of our clubs. All of our clubs have disabled access and toilets, with activities and provision that all young people can take part in. We understand, however, that some disabled young people prefer to meet together. To enable this, there are additional needs youth clubs.

LDD Groups

We support SEND Young people to have a fun time and make new friends.

Though out the program we will be looking at:

  • Cooking, shopping, independence
  • Motivation and confidence building
  • Gardening
  • Team building, team work and personal and social development
  • Arts and crafts
  • Employability skills (Older young people)
  • Computers
  • Sports
  • & organising events throughout the year

The SEND sessions provide a safe place to meet friends, explore your future and will help you to reach your true potential. The workers will support you through fun activities, opportunities and learning. We provide a service for you that will listen, support and empower you to succeed.

All of the sessions are FREE at the point of entry with a cost for coffee bar stock and meals.

Some young people may require 1:1 (or more) support. As we run the session with volunteers, we ask that if 1:1 support is needed, that the adult responsible stays with the young person during the session.
