The area covered by the Tickhill Neighbourhood Plan can be viewed on the Neighbourhood Plans Interactive Map.
Tickhill Town Council have requested minor modification to Map 2 (Town Centre and Business Core) of their Neighbourhood Plan which has been agreed.
Tickhill Neighbourhood Plan Update - Regulation 14 (Pre-Submission Consultation and Publicity)
Tickhill Parish Council have published their draft Neighbourhood Plan for consultation. This is a consultation on an update to the current Neighbourhood Plan, which was adopted in 2016, and will eventually supersede this document. The consultation runs from Saturday 8 May 2021 until 18 June 2021.

Following a successful Referendum the Tickhill Neighbourhood Plan was 'made' by Full Council on the 24 November 2016 when it was adopted as part of Doncaster’s Development Plan.

The referendum on the Tickhill Neighbourhood Plan was held on Thursday 23 July 2015 and the results are published below.
The question asked in the referendum was:
"Do you want Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Tickhill to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
Number of votes cast in favour of a 'YES' - 1008
Number of votes cast in favour of a 'NO' - 151
Votes cast - 1159
Electorate - 4359
Turnout - 26.59%
Spoilt votes - 0
The report of the Independent Examination of the Tickhill Neighbourhood Development Plan prepared by Terry Raymond Heselton BA (Hons) Dip TP MRTPI has been received and recommends that the Neighbourhood Plan should, subject to the recommended modifications, proceed to referendum.

The Local Planning Authority, working with Tickhill Town Council, are considering the recommended modifications.
The report also recommends that the Neighbourhood Plan should proceed to a Referendum based on the Neighbourhood Area as approved by the council on 2 November 2012 (Tickhill parish boundary).
Details of the referendum will be published on the website at the appropriate time.
Regulation 16 Publication of Tickhill Neighbourhood Plan
Following the completion of pre-submission consultation and publicity on their Neighbourhood Plan Tickhill Town Council submitted the following documents to the Local Planning Authority for examination under Part 5 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

This is a re-submission of all the documents which were originally submitted in December 2013
Representations were welcomed on the Plan and the associated documents by Monday 4 August 2014. The deadline for this has now passed and the Council has now appointed an independent assessor Terry Raymond Heselton BA (Hons) Dip TP MRTPI.
Tickhill Town Council Neighbourhood Development Plan - pre-submission consultation and publicity (Regulation 14)
Tickhill Town Council published their draft Neighbourhood Plan at the end of August 2013 for six weeks. The Plan was available to be viewed on the Tickhill Town Council website and a hard copy was made available to view at Tickhill Library.
The closing date for representations was Friday 11 October 2013 and all representations were made either by email to email@example.com or by letter to: Tickhill Neighbourhood Plan c/o Mrs M Cannings-Clough, 24 Vine Road, Tickhill, Doncaster, DN11 9EP
Designation of the Neighbourhood Area for the Tickhill Neighbourhood Plan
At Planning Committee on the 2 November 2012 the Neighbourhood Area was designated for Tickhill Town Council.
Designation means that the town council have approval to progress a plan for the designated area and no other parish council or Neighbourhood Forum can complete a Neighbourhood Plan for the area.
