CLOSURE OF DONCASTER ARCHIVES

Doncaster Archives on King Edward Road, Balby, is now (15/08/2019) closed on health and safety grounds until further notice following the identification of structural failings in the building’s reading room. The building is being assessed and we are currently awaiting further information on its status before archival collections can be relocated and an alternative interim enquiry service can be made available. The records stored at Doncaster Archives are secured within the building and are not at risk.

Get in touch with Doncaster Archives by email - doncaster.archives@doncaster.gov.uk - for enquiries relating to research or archival records and we’ll do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible.

The Local Studies Library at the Central Library on Waterdale remains open as usual.
