Aged 40 to 74?

You could be entitled to a FREE health check.

The check is quick and simple and is offered to adults aged 40-74 living in Doncaster who are NOT currently under the care of a doctor for stroke, heart or blood pressure problems, diabetes, kidney disease and or taking a statin therapy.

Your health check will not only assess your risk of developing these conditions but also offer advice on how to reduce your risk.

Put your mind at rest

Even if you feel fine right now, you may still have niggling worries about your health.  So it can be reassuring to have a health check – to help make sure you are as well as you can be.

To keep you that way, we can identify the health risks that might affect you in the future, so that you can do something about it right now. 

Making small changes to your daily routine could make a big difference to your future health. It’s never too late to change.

Get yourself checked

The health check takes just a few minutes and is totally FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.

  • instant cholesterol and blood sugar testing
  • blood pressure and heart rate
  • a few questions about health and family history
  • measurement of height and weight
  • opportunity for the attendee to ask any related health questions practical advice for the future

You will take a copy of your results and an electronic copy will be sent to your GP. Visit the NHS Choices website to find out how you can act to improve your results. 


Check your heart age

How healthy is your heart? Use this tool to find out if your heart age is higher or lower than your actual age.

Anyone over 30 can use the tool, even if you don't know your blood pressure and cholesterol. However, without these numbers, your result will be an estimate and we recommend you get tested to get an accurate result
