Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives is a free online programme designed to help Doncaster’s schools, colleges, and early years settings improve the health, wellbeing, and learning of the children they support.

What Is It?

At its heart, Healthy Learning, Healthy Lives is an online award that celebrates and supports the brilliant work happening in local education settings. It provides practical tools, resources, and ongoing guidance to help create environments where children can thrive.

How It Works

The award is delivered through an easy-to-use online platform, where settings can upload evidence, access resources, and receive tailored feedback from the Public Health team. Support is available throughout the process, and once accredited, settings receive a certificate and logos to showcase their commitment to health and wellbeing.

Why It Matters

Children’s health and wellbeing are closely linked to how well they learn and develop. By supporting education settings to prioritise wellbeing, we’re helping to give every child the best possible start in life.

Who Can Take Part?

All Doncaster education settings are welcome to join, including:

• Schools and colleges
• Early years providers (nurseries, childminders, etc.)
• Special schools and further education settings
