October is domestic abuse awareness month

We are standing with all those impacted by abusive and coercive controlling behaviours by a partner, ex or family member, regardless of age, gender, sexuality or race.

Throughout the month,  we will be raising awareness of Domestic Abuse by focussing on the help and support available for victims and survivors, as well as those whose behaviour is harmful and who want to change their behaviour.  If you would like more information on the support available Domestic Abuse - City of Doncaster Council

This service is available 9am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays).  During this time the line might be busy so please keep trying or leave a message including whether it is safe to call you back and you will be called back as soon as possible. 

When the Domestic Abuse Hub is closed there will be support available from the following national organisations:

  • Men’s respect helpline 0808 801 0327
  • National 24/7 domestic abuse helpline 0808 2000 24
  • You can also report domestic abuse to South Yorkshire Police via their online reporting form - Form (reportingcrime.uk).  (Not to be used in an emergency)
  • Remember, always dial 999 in an emergency
