The Local Government Ombudsmen investigate complaints about councils. They aim to get the council to put things right if they have gone wrong and if this has affected you directly.
The information contained on the Local Government Ombudsman website will explain what you need to do to make a complaint to them.
Usually the Local Government Ombudsman will ask you to use the council's corporate complaints procedure. However this does not affect your right to approach the Local Government Ombudsman at any time. If you wish to complain please complete the relevant form on the Complaints and Compliments page.
Doncaster Council receives an Annual Review from the Local Government Ombudsman. The review reports on complaints received against the council and dealt with by The Commission for Local Administration in England over the previous year. Please see the Annual Review Document below.
