  On the 9 May 2023, the City of Doncaster Council made The Doncaster (City Gateway – Railway Square and Phase 1) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023 pursuant to section 226(1)(a) of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 . The Order has been submitted to the Secretary of State for the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (“DLUHC”). A public local Inquiry into this matter will be held by Thomas Bristow at the Earl of Doncaster Hotel, Bennetthorpe, Doncaster DN2 6AD on 17 April 2024 at 10.00am.
