Childcare providers contribution to the Local Offer
Childcare providers are required by law to outline their commitment to the Local Offer. Day nurseries, sessional care and childminder's contributions are listed here.
What are childcare providers required to do as part of the Local Offer?
Childcare providers must cooperate with the local authority and outline their commitment to the Local Offer, as set out in Chapter 4 of the SEND Code of Practice (January 2015) and the associated Regulations 2014 (Part 4).
