What is this for?
Applications for PPE can be made using the DO IT NOW button link at the bottom of this page. This service allows registered Care Providers, (including Personal Assistants) providing personal care to vulnerable individuals to apply for PPE in the event your supply chain has been exhausted and you are unable to source PPE to meet your needs.
The Council is continuing to source PPE and has received a limited supply from the Local Resilience Forum (LRF), which can be requested for care workers across the sector. Care providers and people delivering care as a personal assistant (PA) can request PPE from us by filling in our online form (DO IT NOW button below).
All care providers please continue to source PPE through your existing suppliers, and escalate supply issues to the National Supply Disruption Response (NSDR) helpline on 0800 915 9964 (open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week).

Please refer to guidance below and check your emails and see if you had an invitation to register.
What is it going to cost?
For qualifying organisations, the cost of PPE is free of charge.
However, please note:
Our PPE stock could deplete quickly due to the number of providers and PAs working across the borough and we don't have any guarantee that it will be replenished, although we are making every effort to attempt to do this. Therefore, please make sure your order is for a maximum of 7 days' supply. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee requests will be met and we may need to issue you with a lesser amount to make sure we can manage our stock appropriately.
What we need from you
To request PPE from us you need to show that you have tried all the other options to source PPE, that your supply chain (or alternative) has been unable to supply you with appropriate PPE and that PPE is required to deliver care in line with latest government guidelines.
If you are able to demonstrate all avenues have been explored you should complete the on-line application form using the DO IT NOW button link below.
As our stocks are limited we cannot guarantee being able to meet your request, and we may need to prioritise requests according to those carrying the highest risk. Please make sure the PPE is used in accordance with available guidance.
What you should expect from us
Once submitted, we will assess your eligibility to receive PPE via this scheme and notify you whether you have been successful.
Subject to your agreement, we will then contact you to arrange collection / delivery. This normally takes place within 2 working days of submitting the request.
