LUF Shop Front Improvement Grant
What is this for?
Doncaster Council and Business Doncaster are pleased to announce a shop front improvement grant for the City Centre. Grants are available to properties on designated streets in Doncaster City Centre and are for values up to £10,000.
The funding for the grant has been received through an application to the Levelling Up Fund administered by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
Who can apply for a payment?
Building owners and tenants of properties on:
- Scot Lane
- Sunny Bar
- Market Place
- Frenchgate Precinct
- Baxtergate
- High Street
- Hall Gate
- Silver Street
- East Laith Gate
- Princes Street
Who have a valid companies house number or unique taxpayer reference number and have no outstanding liabilities to Doncaster Council.
What is it going to cost?
There is no charge for applying to this grant
What we need from you
A completed application form
Proof of ownership and/or occupation of the property
Current photograph of the property
Any other documentation which may support the application EG plans, artists impressions
What you should expect from us
Following submission a grant decision panel will determine the application, usually with 20 working days. If the grant application is determined as successful, you will receive a grant offer, contract, and details of how to apply for any required permissions
