Sue Scholey receives her award from Mayor Martin Winter
The Managing Director of Wilfreda Beehive and President of Doncaster Chamber of Commerce, Sue is recognised by many as an ambassador for Doncaster.
She has passionately represented Doncaster businesses to ensure key decision-makers and influencers hear them. Sue’s passion and enthusiasm for Doncaster is infectious and this is conveyed in all that she does for the town, reminding all partners that they are there to serve and improve the town’s communities.
Furthermore, Sue is passionate about transport and works hard, as Chairperson of the Doncaster Chamber Transport Focus Group, to ensure that accessibility in Doncaster is addressed.

Kerry Buckley
Kerry established innovative drama school 'Drama Kidz' delivering affordable drama classes direct to kids in their own home. With her ‘dramamobile’ she is able to deliver a themed event, including a workshop and performance, bringing all of the props and costumes needed for a fun-filled session.
As well as providing an important service for overstretched parents, Drama Kidz caters for shy children, for whom the prospect of joining a large group of other kids in an activity is just too daunting.
Kerry’s obviously got the business touch as she signed up 28 students in her first month of business alone.
Allen Hickling
Managing Director of Frank Haslam Milan and Director of both Doncaster Chamber of Commerce and Donbac, Allen led Doncaster’s successful Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) bid, resulting in £16.3 million being granted to kick-start enterprise and entrepreneurial activity in Doncaster.
His lead role on this bid proved to be a catalyst to the involvement of other leading business people during the consultation process and will ensure that other key business leaders are involved in the effective delivery of LEGI, now known as the Success Doncaster scheme, in years to come.
As a Director and Chair of Doncaster’s enterprise agency, Donbac, Allen is also able to provide excellent steer to ensure that the Agency will get involved where the need is greatest.
Nadeem Shah
Nadeem has created numerous jobs in Doncaster over the last 30 years and chooses to keep head offices of his current key enterprises, Swan Homes and TLB Properties, in the borough.
He hosts an annual fund raising event that raises thousands of pounds for charity and has recently established his own foundation, AHS.
As an active board member for Doncaster Chamber of Commerce, Nadeem is well respected within the business community, providing an inspirational example of how to succeed in business whilst giving back to the community.
