Who to contact in an emergency
If you spot a suspected pollution incident in a local waterway, your first point of contact should be the Environment Agency on their Incident Hotline 0800 807060.
If you think that a wildlife crime is being committed, report it straight away to South Yorkshire Police on 0114 2202020 and you will be directed to an appropriate officer (possibly a Wildlife Crime Officer).
If you find a sick or injured creature, have a look at the RSPCA website for advice or contact your local RSPCA centre for advice:
