The Bentley Training Centre offers:

  • courses for 19+ and unemployed people
  • nationally recognised qualifications
  • advice and guidance
  • job search skills
  • assistance with literacy and numeracy
  • personal development, team building, confidence building
  • basic IT skills
  • work placements and work tasters
  • introductions to local employers
  • access to the internet and job vacancies
  • commercial courses in CPC Driver Licence, DIY skills (fees apply)

  • administration and ICT- including a basic ICT course for those who have little or no ICT skills and the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
  • construction- as an approved training provider with City and Guilds we can provide entry level to level 2 courses in carpentry and joinery, brickwork and tiling. We also offer training for tenants and landlords to improve their DIY skills
  • health and safety -  in first aid, fire awareness, fire warden, risk assessment, manual handling, COSHH, Level 1 Award in Health and Safety
  • the land-based and environment sector- such as chainsaw, pesticides, ROLO scheme, brushcutter, wood chipper
