Which door is it? You are responsible
for lost or stolen keys. You should report any loss or theft to the Police.
Is a forced entry needed? Is there another way of gaining entry? If we
gain entry for you, we will charge you. Before we carry out the work you
must agree to pay.
If it is a communal door we will carry out the work but may charge you
for the replacement.
Which door is it?
What type of lock is it? Did you fit the lock yourself?
You are responsible for repairing or replacing
any additional locks you have had fitted.
What is the problem, eg: lock stiff, broken or not fitting properly into
keep, handle broken?
What is the door made of: wood, metal or plastic?
Can you still open and close the door, and lock it?
Which fitting is it: letterplate, pull handle, door number, safety chain, tower bolt, suffolk latch, security bolt or doorbell? You are responsible for repairing or replacing all these items unless it is a communal door.
Which door is it? You are responsible
for this repair unless it is a fire door with a door closer or if it is
a communal door.

What is the problem, eg: closer loose, stiff or broken?

Where is the problem: in your flat or at the main entrance door? Contact
