Public Access is a CAPS Solutions application providing internet access to Planning and Building Control information. Public Access is a property centric application with Geographical Information Service (GIS) facilities core to the application. It allows you to view details of current applications, consisting of Development Control, Building Control, Enforcement and Planning Appeals, which are currently being considered by the Council as well as some planning and building control history.
You can monitor the progress of all applications, submit comments on current planning applications, search a constantly updated list of applications received and decisions issued each week.
The Consultee Access facility provides the functionality for consultees to access both public viewable information and information specific to that named consultee.
The Building Control Agent Access also allows agents to monitor the progress of applications they have submitted to the Council.
Planning application information submitted to the Council is protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes, and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.

The service continues to be developed, at the present time no constraint information or associated documents are available online and planning histories are available from 1st January 2002.
Information contained within Public Access should not be relied upon in connection with a property transaction. Anyone wishing to obtain planning information for this purpose is advised to carry out a local land charges search through the Council's Local Land Charges Section, (Charges apply).
No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in the planning history information obtained from Public Access. Similarly the information contained within Public Access does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a planning decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer's own risk.
Under normal circumstances the new planning application information will be available for viewing within 2 working days of receipt of a valid application.
As an alternative to using Public Access, planning application information including plans and associated documents are available for viewing at Development and Planning, 2nd Floor Danum House, St Sepulchre Gate, Doncaster DN1 1UB.
Doncaster Council reserves the right to remove or not display certain planning application information for confidentiality or other reasons.
If you wish to make a representation, either just to comment, support, or object to an application for planning permission, you can do this via Public Access.
When the planning application details are selected in the Public Access system a button appears in the top right corner "Submit Comments", click on this and follow the instructions.
