Using the forms available on our website

We have an increasing number of forms on our website which will allow you to do everything from reporting an abandoned car through to telling us about vandalism in your neighbourhood. These are available for citizens, businesses and organisations to complete and submit to us, both online and by printing them off and sending them to us in the post.

If a form is available for you to fill in, either online or by printing it off, you will find it as a link on the webpage giving you more information. For example:
The page explaining who is able to receive free school meals also has a link to the form that you should print off and fill in to apply for the benefit.

E-Forms

Where it is possible, we have tried to use e-forms for you to contact us. This is because:

  • You fill in an e-form and send it directly from your computer so you do not need a printer, envelope or stamps
  • E-forms are available for you to fill in and send it to us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, when it is most convenient for you.
  • Our e-forms use a secure https website, so that your information is kept confidential and only seen by the people who need to deal with it. When you open an e-form a padlock icon will appear at the bottom of your browser window to show that the site is secure.

Forms that you have to print and complete

These forms often require a signature or additional documents and need to be returned in person or posted in to us. You will see an icon before the title of the form to tell you what format the form is in (usually Word or PDF). There will be details on the form to tell you how to fill it in and where you need to take or send it.
