Bright New Futures
Doncaster artist James Connelly presents an exhibition of artwork from a recent project run with M25 - Doncaster's homeless shelter.
The exhibition, supported by the Arts Council England features the work of residents of the shelter using digital media to create colourful images symbolising personal new beginnings in their lives. One of the aims of the project is to use art to challenge common perceptions of homeless people, empowering them to emerge looking like professional people with a genuine possibly of having a high quality of life.
When the exhibition closes on 31st march the artwork will transfer to its permanent home at the M25 building.
