Care4Air is a project being run by the 4 South Yorkshire local authorities; Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.

The aim of the project is to highlight what is happening in the region on air quality issues and focus attention on what can be done to improve air quality. The project also aims to provide individuals, organisations, schools and businesses with the information that will enable them to play their part in reducing air pollution.

Care4Air  will promote good practice in all matters relating to reducing air pollution and reward those that are willing to go that extra mile to help protect and improve the regions air quality with the Care4Air Award scheme.
