Metro Clean
Who we are
Metro clean is Doncaster Council's building and cleaning service and are responsible for the cleaning of 425 sites throughout the Borough.
What we do
The service includes:-
- Scheduled cleaning and soft facilities management
- Periodic cleaning, including litter picking and window cleaning
- Emergency and special cleaning including vandalism and fire (often this is chargeable direct to your insurance cover without incurring any direct costs for the school/ building)
- Specialist high/low level cleaning
- Carpet and upholstery cleaning and shampooing, floor treatments, preparation, stripping and sealing
- Supply of materials, including paper towels, barrier matting, liquid soap and toilet rolls
- Repairs and electrical testing of cleaning equipment
- COSHH packages
- Caretaker provision, supervision and cleaning staff training courses
- Full induction and employee screening
- BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) accredited Training Centre
- IIP (investors in People) accredited since 1998
- Supply discounted cleaning equipment e.g. vacuum cleaners and polishing machines, due to economies of scale and increased buying power
- Support all on site recycling initiatives.
