You know who I am and why I am here, so let me tell you all about Elcyc.  Elcyc is a planet a little bit like Earth. You are quite lucky here on Earth because you only go to school five days each week, boys and girls on Elcyc have to go to school on Saturdays as well. All boys and girls walk or cycle to school, no one ever goes to school by car, even the teachers walk or cycle.   

Elcyc is a very safe planet because everyone thinks about road safety all of the time, every time children and grown ups cross the road they always Stop, Look, Listen and Think. Nobody ever runs across the road, or crosses in dangerous places and every one is very careful. All the children on Elcyc also wear a seat belt or sit in a child seat every time they travel in a car.   

I have been sent to Earth to try and make it as safe for boys and girls as it is on Elcyc. I would like all of you to do what boys and girls do on Elcyc and think about road safety all of the time. I want you to Stop, Look, Listen  and Think every time you cross a road.
