Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit
Service Description
The main purpose of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit (including Second Adult Rebate) is to help people pay their rent and Council Tax charge. These benefits are 'means tested' benefits which means the amount of benefit that is awarded depends on a number of things. For example, we would need to know your income, who lives with you and the amount you are charged to live there. We also give advice about claiming other social security benefits.
