We can’t wait for the Tour de Yorkshire in 2018 – and the more people involved, the greater the event.
The first Tour de Yorkshire roadshow has already been organised for Tuesday 9 January at the Earl of Doncaster and we’d love to see you there.
The roadshow is an opportunity to chat about some of the ways that Doncaster communities can get involved. From street parties to other local events, we will support and encourage all local people to celebrate the renowned international sporting event returning to our borough.
With the route passing through a number of Doncaster’s towns and villages, community groups, businesses, schools and residents are invited to serve up a lively programme of entertainment and attractions while decorating their neighbourhoods with impressive land art.
To book your place on the roadshow on Tuesday 9 January, from 2.30-5pm, please visit: Tour de Yorkshire roadshow
Two further Tour de Yorkshire roadshow dates are also lined up:
- Rossington Hall on Thursday 22 February from 5.30 to 7.30pm
- Hooton Pagnell Hall on Wednesday 7 March from 10am to 12.30pm
Ros Jones, Mayor of Doncaster, said:
“These roadshows are a great opportunity to find out more about the Tour de Yorkshire, how you can get involved and the tremendous benefits it will bring to our borough. I would urge residents and businesses to book their free spot and go along.”
