The existing A6182 White Rose Way road provides one of the main transport links into Doncaster from the South. It is currently one of the busiest and most congested roads in the Borough resulting in queues extending onto the M18 and 64 recorded personal accidents between 1997 and 2004. However, following approval from Doncaster Council’s Cabinet, improvement work on White Rose Way is expected to start in late 2009 that will see the road widened into a full dual carriageway, benefiting business, visitors and residents alike.
