All children have the right to be looked after properly and protected from harm. The Safeguarding and Standards Service holds Child Protection Case Conferences when people are worried that a child may be at risk of being harmed or is not being looked after properly. A Child Protection Case Conference is a meeting where parents and carers of children meet with professionals to discuss the concerns about the care and safety of their children. This meeting will decide if children should be made subject to a Child Protection Plan.
The information in this section has been produced by the Doncaster Safeguarding Children Board, which exists to promote the prevention of child abuse and the protection of children.
