How to make a Complaint about a Councillor

If you are unhappy about the way a Councillor of Doncaster Council or any Parish Council in the Doncaster area have behaved, you can make a complaint to the Council's Monitoring Officer.

A complaint form is attached below to assist you in the process. It would be useful if you could please send any documents or supporting information to support your complaint, with your form or letter.

Note of Clarification

Please note that the above guidance relates to the Model Code of Conduct for Local Authorities 2007 and Standards Board’s for England Model Code of Conduct for Parish and Town Councils.

You may want to consider the guidance on the Code and behaviour covered by the Code of Conduct 2007.
