The role of People and Performance Improvement is to create a positive and enabling organisational culture where people at every level take responsibility to deliver excellent services to customers. The service is provided by three teams which are Human Resources, Organisational Development and Policy, Performance and Change.

Access to People and Performance Improvement Services
Customers telephoning the department will now do so via a dedicated line, called Pay and Employment Direct.  Customers who wish to meet for face-to-face advice or to discuss issues with a consultant, should telephone Pay and Employment Direct and an advisor will make arrangements.

Access to People and Performance Improvement services can also be done online using the links below. This will enable employees to view information and use forms to notify Pay & Employment of changes required to update records relating to salary/wage payments, personal data and employment contract details. We also actively support performance improvement across the Council advising on strategy development, research, consultation and performance management.
