Doncaster's Greenspace Strategy: Consultation
"Green Spaces, Green Places"
The Greenspace Strategy will enable Doncaster to protect and improve the greenspace in the Borough by providing a structure that will balance greenspace provision with community needs; to inform planning and development issues; secure sustainable, well-designed and attractive greenspaces; set priorities for improvement plans and strengthen community involvement in greenspace provision.

"Streets Ahead"
The Strategy considers three main elements in tackling the Street Scene agenda:
Service deliver (what the council and partners do and will deliver);
Education and engagement (working with the community to improve engagement in these services and increase PRIDE);
End enforcement (appropriate action taken against those people who refuse to act suitably and continue to commit environmental crime).
The main objectives of the strategy are to:
Improve the quality of Doncaster's street scene;
Tackle anti-social behaviour throughout the Borough;
Promote safer living and reducing the fear of crime;
Develop the cultural and economic infrastructure of Doncaster; including a lively, vibrant town centre;
Provide an integrated transport network, which is safe and clean, and improved highways maintenance;
Encourage recreation and leisure in Doncaster.
