The site is aimed at people in Doncaster aged between 13 & 19 and will link to loads of online information, including activities, clubs, careers, education, relationships and news on what's coming up and what's been going on for young people in the area.
The name 'Fusion' was chosen by the Youth Council to reflect how the website will fuse together information and ideas relevant to young people in Doncaster. Doncaster Fusion has been designed and created with the help of a team of young people in Doncaster. For the past few months the team has been developing ideas with the web designers to get the look of the site just right and the feedback from the young people is that the site is 'funky and modern'.
Dave McCreery, part of the team of young people, said "Working on the Doncaster Fusion website has been a really interesting and challenging experience. Talking to other young people about the designs and getting their views along the way has really influenced how the site has turned out. I think it will be a great place for all young people to go to for information about the issues that matter to them".
Visit the website now at www.doncasterfusion.co.uk to find out about the easily accessible information available for the young people in Doncaster. You can let them know what you think of the new website by emailing them at fusion@doncaster.gov.uk
