Doncaster - Thorne Road Conservation Area was designated on 20th May 1991 and lies adjacent to two other conservation areas, which are Doncaster - Christchurch and Doncaster - Town Field.
An appraisal was undertaken on the conservation area which was adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance on 30th March 2004, this can be downloaded below.
It is expected that this appraisal will be reviewed late 2008/2009.
