As each application is slightly different, the time it takes to reach a decision will vary. To understand this process please read the page "How long does the whole process take".
Each application will be given a target date, this date will normally be between 8 and 13 weeks from the date the (valid) application was submitted to the office. To find out the target date to your application please view "Public Access - Planning Application" page.
The decision on your application will normally be on or just over the target date, so please be patient.
If you have hired a planning agent, we will always write to them. If you have submitted the planning application yourself, we will write directly to you within 5 working days of a decision being reached.
You (or your agent) will receive a decision notice that will specify any conditions that have to be complied with in the event of planning permission being granted or include reasons why planning permission was refused.
