The Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has just published a consultation document on proposals for the future development of the Building Control System.
One of the proposals in the consultation paper is to stop the use of Building Notices for major domestic projects, such as extensions and conversions.
Before considering making these changes, it is critical that the public is properly engaged and understand what is proposed.
Therefore DCLG are launching a mini-survey for the public on the issue of limiting Building Notices.
It is an on-line survey which should only take a few minutes to complete. Please use the link below to access this survey, and it will be available until 10th June 2008.
The Council would encourage your participation in this survey to ensure your opinions are considered by DCLG.
