Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD) whilst not having development plan status, form part of the Local Development Framework. A number of existing Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) documents have been prepared and adopted by the Council and are currently in use as guidance for applicants and others involved in the planning process. It is intended that these will be replaced over time by SPDs.
