Con 29 Enquiries

The Con 29 is a set of questions which have been designed to reveal information about the land/property to be purchased.

 
The Con 29 consists of Con29R and Con29O 
 
Con29R and Con29O should be submitted in duplicate together with the LLC1 to constitute a full Local Authority Search, or may be submitted separately as stand alone documents. 

 
This questions which are covered by the Con29R include such matters as the maintenance of roads, ie whether or not it is maintained by the Local Authority, whereby repairs and snow clearance will be carried out.  Whether or not the roadway fronting is the subject of major road schemes etc.  All planning matters, including Building Regulations, Planning Applications and Decisions, Enforcement Notices, Compulsory Purchase etc.  Environmental Health issues which would include Clearance Areas, Smoke Control Areas and Contaminated Land etc.
 
Con 29O should only be submitted if additional question are required to be answered.  These questions incur a fee of £10.00 and are as follows:- 
 
1.  Road proposals by private bodies (Please note this Council does not answer to this question)

4. Completion Notices
5.  Parks and countryside
6. Pipelines
7. Houses in multiple occupation
8. Nose abatement 
9. Urban development areas
10. Enterprise zones
11. Inner urban improvement areas
12. Simplified planning zones
13. Land maintenance notices
14. Mineral consultation areas
15. Hazardous substance consents
16. Environmental and pollution notices
17. Food safety notices
18. Hedgerow notices
19. Common Land/Village Green (Please note the fee for this question is £14.00)
 

In addition to the above Solicitors may ask their own questions which should be attached to the requisition for Search and incur a fee of £15.00 per question.
