This project was developed by the Greater Adwick Neighbourhood Team when the school's pets who lived in the quadrangle were killed. Following the horrific incident, Barclays Bank and Bramall Construction kindly offered their support which meant that various pieces of educational equipment have been purchased and installed.
Up to date, the Neighbourhood Team have successfully installed the following items in the quadrangle:
Two large raised planting bed areas made up of railway sleepers which will be used by the school to grow their own fruit and vegetables.
A live willow doma and walkway which takes pride of place and will soon serve as a natural habitat for both wildlife and the children.
Talking tubes are an addition to the quad which will enable children to communicate from one area to another.
Mark Bell has also paid a couple of visit to the quadrangle to sculp various animals and seats.
An opening ceremony is planned when the project is complete which will welcome back the former Year 6 pupils to see the developments that have taken place.
