
Every resident in Doncaster received a copy of Doncaster’s first ever Neighbourhood Charter through their door in April 2009.

Doncaster’s Neighbourhood Charter is an agreement between the council, its partners and residents to work together to maintain and improve neighbourhoods in Doncaster. The charter brings together different agencies and lets you know about the standards of service that you can expect from them, not just in your neighbourhood but across the whole borough.
Services in your neighbourhood range from litter and street cleansing to working closely with communities. The charter also tells you what you, as residents, can do to help keep your neighbourhood safer, cleaner and greener. There are lots of useful contact details included so you will always know who to contact about a problem or issue.
