Levels and types of crimes vary from area to area, and in order to target our resources where they are most needed and will have the greatest effect, the Partnership uses data on the incidence of crimes to identify "hot spots" and take appropriate action. The Community Safety Unit's Research and Analysis Team produces reports on a regular basis for the task groups, and the Partnership Board.
The latest statistics on crime in each area can be viewed in the table at the bottom of this page.
