Safer Doncaster TV Network

This is a network of twelve, 48 inch plasma screens across Doncaster, which broadcast community safety films.  The screens can be found at the following locations:

• Doncaster Dome
• Law Courts
• Colonnade Council Office
• Armthorpe Customer Service Centre
• Tesco Cafe
• Asda Cafe
• Four Seasons Cafe (Town Centre)
• 5 Doctor's surgeries/ health centres  

Community Safety TV enables the Safer Doncaster Partnership to promote their work, rather than leaving it to the local media.  Over 50,000 Doncaster residents see one of the screens every week.

What sort of things appear on Community Safety TV?

• Mainly locally filmed pieces
• Some library footage
• Government films
• 32 different messages, each approx 30 seconds long, some shorter, rolling round on a half hour loop throughout the opening hours of the venue
• Up to date News, Weather and Sport every half hour
• Emergency/ text only messages  

Community Safety TV can also be used to publish information about Crime Statistics; Safer Neighbourhood Teams; Missing Persons; Road Closures; Wanted Individuals; Security Issues and Vehicle Number plate recognition.
