Single Regeneration Budget (SRB)
This was a series of Central Government Initiatives which started in the mid-1990's and was overseen by Yorkshire Forward, with Doncaster Council as the Accountable Body.
SRB 2 "Going for Growth"
This borough wide programme ran from 1995 to 2002 and had a value of £19.6 million. Specific areas targeted were the Town centre and Hexthorpe.
SRB 3 "Northern Corridor Regeneration"
This programme targeted the north of Doncaster and ran from 1997 to 2003. It had a value of £16.5 million.
SRB 5/6 "South Yorkshire Coalfield Partnership"
This programme ran from 1999 to 31st March 2008 and was a £96 million programme across Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley. The Doncaster portion of the allocation was approx £32 million. The programme has now closed and no new projects are due to be started.
